White Lotus (Nymphaea lotus), also known as the Egyptian water lily, held deep cultural and spiritual significance in ancient Egypt alongside Blue Lotus (Nymphaea caerulea). With its luminous white petals and golden center, it was associated with beauty, celebration, and creation.
Frequently depicted in ancient carvings and paintings, white lotus appeared in scenes of ritual, music, dance, and gathering. It was linked to Atum, the god of creation, and prized for its fragrance, which was used in perfumes and ceremonial contexts.
Often regarded as the more feminine expression of the lotus, White Lotus carries a sweet, complex, and utterly intoxicating aroma — soft yet radiant, sensual without heaviness.
